Soooo, I just tried out the new Anastasia Prism Palette!
I loved the mattes; the texture reminded me of the modern renaissance palette (which I LOVE). The biggest bummer for me was the shimmery eye shadows, which did not blend well with a dry brush AT ALL. A dampened brush or fingertip honestly works better to get more coverage and an even application. Personally, I do not use my brushes wet to apply shimmery shades so this is an extra effort for me, but if you’re someone who uses shimmery shades wet already then there’s no extra work involved.
Overall, I really loved the shades in this palette, I just wish it had included a few satin/pearl finishes to help blend mattes into metallic, but it wasn’t too big of an issue with the textures between all the shades in this palette.
